Ha Giang

Ha Giang is the northernmost province of Vietnam, a rising destination for adventure travelers in Vietnam. Its remote areas reserve a number of delights for you: awe-inspiring landscape, untouched culture and warmhearted people.

Ha Giang is situated around 320km to Ha Giang. The land has a rugged beauty with complex topography of rocky mountains, high hills, steep slopes, rivers and streams. It shares borders with China to the north, Cao Bang to the east, Lao Cai to the west and Yen Bai to the south. Ha Giang has tropical climate with two seasons: rainy and dry season. Annual temperature revolves around 24-28 º C and may drop to -5 º C in winter.

Ha Giang has many mountains, with the highest peak Tay Con Linh of 2.419m. It also boasts vast tropical forest rich in flora, especially rare wood and medicinal plants, and fauna. The grand Dong Van Plateau is known as the global geo park of rock.

Ha Giang is home to a great number of ethnic groups: Mong, Lolo, Tay, etc. They have unique customs and traditions, particularly the Khau Vai ethnic love market. Many other ethnic markets are held at weekends, drawing people near and far for trade. Perfectly, they are all untouched.
