The Tu Hieu Pagoda is one of the largest and wonderful pagodas of the city. It is a peaceful place to be and there you can see a beautiful half-moon filled with lotus flowers and the court of monks.

Nguyen emperors had used thousands of laborers to build this mighty citadel, encompassing three circles of ramparts: the Defensive Fort (Capital City), the Imperial City and the Forbidden Purple City.

Part of Hue royal music and dance, “nhã nhạc” or refined music, was recognized by Unesco as a Masterpiece of Oral and Intangible Heritage.
