Upon arrival in Hanoi, you will be welcomed by our guide and transferred to your hotel. Hanoi is one of Asia's most charming cities, with romantic boulevards and gorgeous colonial buildings. The rest of the day is free for your shopping and exploration. Overnight in the hotel.

Hanoi

A full day spent for visiting Hanoi – the politic, economic and cultural capital of Vietnam. Starting with Museum of Ethnology ( closed on Monday) which offers informative and well-documented display on the country’s 54 ethnic groups, include elaborate and colorful hill-tribe costumes,. The display continues on to the garden outside with fascinating examples of minority housing from the Kinh to the ones of the ethnic groups in Central Highlands. Leave it behind, we come to visit the Temple of Literature- the combination of the Confucius Temple worshiping Confucius which was built in 1070 and the first Royal National university in Vietnam in 1076. Considered as “an escape” from the bustling city, this temple and its beautiful garden provides an opportunity to learn more about education in Vietnam since 1000 years ago until recent decades. In the afternoon, stroll around the alleys of Hanoi Old Quater, visit Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple or Jade Mountain Temple situated in the heart of Hanoi. The Water puppet show will bring us to an end of Hanoi city tour. Overnight at the hotel.

Hanoi - Mai Chau

Depart from Hanoi to Mai Chau - a picturesque valley, home to many hill tribes including the Dzao, Muong and Thai. Arrive in Mai Chau around noon, check in Thai ethnic homestay in Van Village, a village of the ‘White Thai’, who predominantly inhabit this area. Lunch in the homestay with a typical Thai ethnic meal. In the afternoon, take a short walk around the village where you will be welcomed by friendly local people, communicate with them and explore their traditional lifestyle. Enjoy a traditional dancing show at night with taste of Ruou Can, the local rice wine. Overnight in the homestay.

Mai Chau - Van Long - Hoa Lu

After brekafast, drive to Ninh Binh via Nho Quan with its peaceful countryside settings. After lunch, taking buffalow cart or cycling through the village, stop to take some shots. Board a small rowing boat to explore the Van Long Nature Reserve which covers some 3,000 hectares of picturesque water landscape. You will enjoy two hours rowing through spectacular scenery made up of limestone mountains reflected in emerald water and lush rice fields. The forest is home to Delacour Langur - an endangered spiece with only 200 individuals remaining globally. Disembark and walk to visit two temples dedicated to King Dinh and Le in Hoa Lu- the ancient capital of Vietnam in 10th century. Overnight at the hotel in Hoa Lu.

Hoa Lu - Ha Long bay

After breakfast, depart to Ha Long bay via Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, passing peaceful countryside typical of Red River Delta with endless rice fields and winding river. Arrive at Ha Long Tourist Wharf around noon. Embark the elegant wooden junk. Lunch will be served as the boat cruises to visit numerous islands and lime-stone outcrops rising abruptly from the emerald water. It is also an ideal opportunity to enjoy the sea and refresh your soul in its splendid setting. Dinner with fresh seafood prepared by our experienced chef. A sweet night on board in your private cabin.

Ha Long bay - Hanoi - Hue

Enjoy the breakfast and savor an incredible sunrise from the sundeck while boat is cruising to Luon Cave and Halong floating village then back to the habour. On the way back to Hanoi, stop at Bac Ninh province for visiting Vietnam's first Buddhist centre, the But Thap Pagoda, which was built in 13th century and reconstructed in the 17th century . It famous for valuable statues, most remarkable is a thousand-handed and thousand-eyed Budha considered a masterpiece of Vietnamese sculpture. Drive to Hanoi then Hanoi station for the night train to Hue. Overnight in the 4 soft- berths cabin.

Arrive in Hue in the morning. Hue city - the poetic city used to be the capital of Nguyen dynasty well- known for its royal monuments. Start our trip visiting Hue Imperial City - the architectural complex inlcuding : Flag Tower, Ngo Mon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace & Forbidden Purple City (Tu Cam Thanh). Tour ended by visiting Minh Mang mausoleum- one of Hue's most beautiful royal tomb compounds, consisting of 40 constructions (palaces, lakes, temples & pavilions). The rest of the day is free for relaxation. Overnight in the hotel.

Hue - Thuy Bieu Eco- village

Start a new day with a leisure boat trip along the poetic Perfume River, stop at Dong Ba market to shop ingredients for the evening cooking class with our Chef. En route visit Thanh Tien paper flower making village, Van Mieu temple and Thien Mu pagoda (Heavenly Lady pagoda)- the symbol of Hue city. Cruise toward Thuy Bieu Eco- village, an ancient laid back village situated on the bank of Perfume River known for its green tea fruit orchards. Lunch in the village. The afternoon spent for biking through the peacful village, visiting several communal houses, ancient temples and especially the garden- house - a typical and unique feature of Hue. After a day of walking, your foot will be refreshed by soaking in the medicinal herb water with excellent blind massage. In the evening, taking part in the cooking class. You will have a chance to prepare a typical Vietnamese meal for dinner with instructions from our chef. Embark the elegant junk for a sweet night on board.

Hue - Danang – Hoi An

Breakfast on board while enjoying the magnificent sunrise on Perfume River as the sun rises from luxuriant trees.
Disembark then drive along the Mandarin Road – a scenic journey from Hue to Hoi An, which allows you to see a picturesque Vietnam with stunning beachs and lust tropical forest. Take some stops en route for taking nice photos before visiting the Museum of Cham Sculpture - with many precious antique artifacts of the former Cham Kingdom on display. Transfer to Hoi An ancient town, once an important international trading port and now a charming riverside town. Overnight in the hotel.

Hoi An - My Son - Hoi An

In the morning, our guide and car will pick you up and bring you to My Son holy land - once the capital city of Champa Kingdom, a reign in Southeast Asia between the 4th and 12th centuries. My Son Sanctuary is a large complex of religious relics that comprises more than 70 architectural works. The highest tower with double pillars, solid walls, elaborate carvings and striking sculptures reflect the exclusive beauty of Cham architecture.
Transfer back to visit Hoi An. Hoi An ancient town features a fantastic combination of Chinese, Dutch, Japanese and Portugese culture. You can see it by your own eyes when visiting Japanese Pagoda Bridge, Chinese street, Phung Hung old house, Hoi An market & ancient port, Phuc Thanh pagoda – the oldest pagoda of Hoi An (1454) built with Chinese bonze. Especially, on the 1st or 15th of every Lunar month, the town will be lighted up with colourful lanterns instead of electric lamp, making Hoi An sparkling than ever. Overnight in the hotel.

Hoi An - Danang - flight to Sai Gon

Morning transfer to Danang airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh City (formerly named Saigon) with wide elegant boulevards and historic French colonial buildings. All day spent for visiting the Vietnam's most dynamic city situated on the banks of Saigon River. The city tour covers: Ton Duc Thang and Nguyen Hue Avenue, Reunification Palace (Ex-Presidential Palace), the Notre Dame Cathedral (built in 1877) and the Central Post Office. Tour end by visiting Ben Thanh Market – the oldest and busiest market in the city. Overnight at the hotel in Saigon.

Sai Gon - My Tho - Ben Tre

Leave the bustling city behind we depart to the Mekong Delta, the largest rice basket of Vietnam. Arrive at Hung Vuong pier (Ben Tre town), embark and cruise along the Bến Tre river– a tributary of Mekong River to discover the local culture and their daily activities. Stop at a brick – field belonged to Mr Tu Lo to see how Vietnamese make bricks by hand and a coconut candy workshop located along the canal to witness the process of making coconut candies. Continue rowing through the canals to visit Nhon Thanh village. Stroll around the village to enjoy the tranquility and taste fresh tropical fruit.
Cycle on the small road passing green rice fileds, vegetable gardens and fruit orchards. Have lunch at a local house on the river bank. We finally arrive at our homestay in Ben Tre for overnight. Cycling trip to Mr. Sau Khanh's home to admire his valuable collection of antiques. Learn about agricultural activities in Vietnam, watching the farmers on the field and probably joining your hands to help them. Prepare your dinner with the local host and overnight in the homestay.

Ben Tre - Sa Dec - Long Xuyen

Begin our morning by visiting the local market and the Phu Nhuan temple where you can see an old cycad date back a hundred years. Start a rowing boat trip on Cai Coi canal towards Hung Vuong pier and disembark. Transfer to Long Xuyen passing Sadec where we visit Kien An Cung pagoda built by Huynh Thuy Le’s family, the main character of the novel “L’amant” by French novelist Marguerite Duras and Trung Vuong primary school where his mother had taught. Continue transfer by road to Long Xuyen. Arrive in Long Xuyen in the late afternoon. Overnight in the hotel.

Long Xuyen - Sai Gon

In the early morning, embark a sampan then cruise to Long Xuyen floating market, very crowded and authentic. It is the most bustling floating market in Mekong Delta with thousands of colorful boats gathering for trade. This is also a golden chance for taking unique pictures. Our last stop for Long Xuyen visit is Cu Lao Ong Ho (Tiger island). Transfer back to Sai Gon. Overnight in the hotel.
