After breakfast, you will visit the Grand Royal Palace, the official residence of the kings of Thailand since 1785. Begin your exploration of Chiang Rai Province with a visit to the famous Golden Triangle, where the borders of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar. Visit Wat Phra That Pu Khao, perched on a hilltop offering panoramic views of the Golden Triangle. Continue to the Hall of Opium Museum to learn about the history of the opium trade and its impact on the region. Next, visit a Long Neck Karen village to learn about the culture, traditions, and daily life of the Karen community. In the afternoon, return to Chiang Rai and visit Wat Rong Suea Ten (Blue Temple). Overnight in Chiang Rai.

After breakfast, meet your guide and driver at the hotel and depart for Chiang Mai. Along the way, visit Wat Rong Khun (White Temple), one of Thailand’s most iconic temples. Continue to Mae Khachan Hot Springs, where you can take a short break, relax, and observe the natural hot springs. Upon arrival in Chiang Mai, continue your temple exploration with a visit to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, situated on a mountain overlooking Chiang Mai. After the visit, transfer to your hotel and check in. Overnight in Chiang Mai.

Breakfast at your hotel. Today, enjoy an incredible trip to one of the best elephant parks in Northern Thailand. Drive approximately 1.5 hours south of Chiang Mai through hills, forests, and local agricultural areas. Dress in traditional Karen clothing and enjoy an introductory lesson on elephant anatomy, history, and behavior. Meet the elephants. Feed, interact, and play with them in a natural environment while learning about their behavior and history. Enjoy a lunch of traditional Thai food and fresh fruits. Afterwards, depart from the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary and drive approximately 1.5 hours back to Chiang Mai.

After breakfast, free time for personal activities until transfer to the airport for the return flight.
