SalaBai, the French gastronomic school
Training the youngest in a profession is a fast and effective way to fight poverty and human trafficking.
A French formation
The French NGO Agir pour le Cambodge (APLC), founded in 1985, created the SalaBaï program in 2002 to fight poverty and human trafficking in Cambodia, through the professional training and integration of disadvantaged young people.
Fairtourism... and tasteful!
There are many ways to travel smart. And what could be better than feasting your taste buds at the same time? Through a gourmet meal (menu renewed every month), our travellers contribute to financing a student's school fees. The cuisine is delicious and the service excellent.
For which kind of travellers?
- For gourmets
- For travellers who want to have a real impact on the local economy in the long term
- To change the local gastronomy
Good to know
150 students are trained there each year. This program, exclusively for disadvantaged young Cambodians, gives priority to girls (70%), who suffer from greater vulnerability and less access to education.
